Phil reporst on his final day onboard Oasis of the Seas

Having returned to the UK after 3 days onboard Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas - I can now confirm after watching the evening show at the Aqua Theatre - this is the most amazing cruise ship I have ever seen!
I will post some great images below, and then a full album next week. But I will try and summize the ship and the concept of Oasis Class cruising.

Phil's comments: Oasis of the Seas is not just a cruise ship, it is a resort at sea. If you are looking for the most amazing holiday experience and want to be wowed on a big scale, then Oasis of the Seas will most certainly not let you down.
The hardware sits between 5 and 6 star in so many ways, but because this is a floating resort, you have to understand that you will have to make some concessions. One of these is at main dining in the evening. The food was excellent and when you consider the number of people Royal Caribbean are catering for (3 level dining room) this is some achievement. But although the service in the main dining room is acceptable and the staff are superb (ours were), you will not get a 5 star dining experience. This is just my opinion and takes absolutely nothing away from the Oasis of the Seas. However...
The "Speciality Restaurants" offer a unique and most deffinate 5 star dining experience. So please make sure you do pre book at least one or two of these venues pre cruise.
I have to keep it real and those who read my blog, trust my judgement.

The view of the Aqua Theatre and the huge impressive design of the stern on Oasis of the Seas..
Would I holiday on Oasis of the Seas - most deffinately. My daughter (16yrs) and her friends would absolutely love it and so would anyone who wants the real WoW factor - couples and families alike.
One thing I would strongly recommend is that you treat a holiday on Oasis of the Seas as a resort vacation and plan your holiday carefully before you go. Make sure you make reservations for speciality dining, shows and of course the Aqua Theatre.
This is a huge ship with up to 6300 passengers, so do not expect to just book your holiday and turn up at venues, because they will be full more often than not.
Plan it well and you will have the holiday of a lifetime.....
