A P&O Cruises review from 16 August 09 Ventura Cruise

Dear Phil,

Just wanted to tell you that we have just got back from a MAGNIFICENT holiday on the Ventura and that you should totally ignore all the negative blogs you receive on the ship.  It was the first time we had cruised on P & O and as you know we have done many many cruises over the years.  We can honestly say that this rates at the top of the list for fun and entertainment.  The Kids Club was fantastic –our two little grandchildren had the time of their lives in the Club and the staff there were incredible.  We could not believe the activities they did with the children every day. 

The evening entertainment was wonderful –some nights we had difficulty fitting in 3 different shows!  Some topliners too, which we have never had on the American cruise lines.  Wonderful atmosphere on board and the staff went out of their way to make this an incredible cruise.  The Captain was visible every day and chatted to the passengers as he walked round the ship –again, unheard of in other cruise lines.

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable time was had by one and all and we will have no hesitation in booking a P & O cruise again in the very near future.
