The New Yachts of Seabourn ship Seabourn Sojourn will be named in London in June 2010

New Yachts of Seabourn ship Seabourn Sojourn is to be named in London as a mark of commitment to the UK cruise market by the luxury line.
The naming ceremony will be held in Greenwich in June 2010 before the vessel sails on its 14-day maiden voyage to the Faroe islands, Iceland and the Norwegian fjords.
Full details of prices and itineraries will be revealed in February 2009.
Seabourn Sojourn will be the second of three 450-passenger vessels being added to the company’s fleet of intimate, yacht-like cruisers. The first, Seabourn Odyssey, is to be launching next June in Venice and a third is to join the fleet in 2011.
Company president and CEO Pam Conover said: “In the long term, the UK represents a huge growth market for Seabourn as UK cruisers look for a more intimate, personal experience offering exceptional value for money, all of which can be found on our yachts.
“London has always been a great destination for our Seabourn yachts. We have earned a large and loyal following of repeat cruise guests from the UK, and we are proud to debut our beautiful new vessel in London.
“As such, I am delighted to announce that Seabourn Sojourn’s maiden voyages will be departing from the UK, providing this market with an unparalleled ultra-luxury cruise product.”
The ships will feature suites with separate living areas and bedrooms, writing desks with personalised stationery, iPod and MP3 connections and granite bathrooms with separate bath and shower and twin sinks.
The ships will also offer four dining venues, including a spacious open-seating restaurant capable of seating all passengers. There are six bars and lounges and a two-deck spa.
