P&O Cruises Azura is revealed in London and I have all the details of Azura including images.

I told you yesterday that I was going to London to hear all about P&O Cruises new cruise ship Azura.
Before I go into the full detail, I will tell you know (and some have already emailed me to ask the burning question) and...........Ventura she is not.!
Ventura is doing very well with newcomers to cruise and families and to be honest has really found her feet with our regular P&O Clients and is selling extremely well - but Azura is a new cruise ship built for existing P&O cruisers. She will have everything that is good about ships such as Oriana, Aurora and Ventura.
Note: There will be a dedicated online advance registration page where you will get regular updates of Azura as she takes shape in the ship yard - right up to delivery in spring 2010. Make sure you visit www.podeals.com and be the first to know all about Azura.
Here is my report fresh from last night.
I am very pleased to tell you that Azura will feature an Indian fine dining restaurant, which I am sure will be a huge hit with the British passengers especially. This is just one of 11 dining venues onboard Azura.

Another superb feature is something that I have personally campaigned for for a number of years now, and that is Single Cabins! Yes - Azura will feature 18 single staterooms and also for large families or groups of friends - two large suites.

Another first for P&O Cruises is the addition of Spa Cabins which offer exclusive access to the Oasis Spa and there will be in-cabin extras.

Those of you who are wine buffs will be pleased to hear that TV wine expert Olly Smith will be creating a new "Select Dining" restaurant and bar concept - The Glass House.
Now, if anyone has ever cruised with Princess you will understand the concept of Movies Under the Stars. Well this superb facility (to be named, but you get the drift) is now available to P&O Cruises clients onboard Azura - with an open air cinema by the Aqua Pool and a secluded on deck Spa area.
I and many of my friends and clients will be very pleased this superb feature is now available to P&O Cruisers out of Southampton.
Now that you have a feel for Azura I want to tell you about the dining onboard.
Sundhu, deck 7 aft
A contemporary and comfortable coffee house during the day; pr-dinner bar by night. Java will be based in the heart of the ship and will be a great place to meet friends at anytime of day. During the day Java will serve speciality coffees and chocolates, teas, snacks, pastries, savouries, cake, gateaux and tarts, cookies and muffins.
There will be a comprehensive room service menu 24-hours a day.

W ith Club Dining passengers can enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of the main restaurant, share their experiences and meet new friends. The same table will be reserved for them with the same dining companions each night on either first sitting at 6.30pm or second sitting at 8.30pm.
