Voyages of Discovery is swapping its Antarctica cruises for cruises in Asia in winter 2009-2010.

Discovery will operate this winter 2008 / 2009 in Antarctica but be redeployed the following winter for a season of Far East cruises.
New destinations will include Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
Add-on tours include a mid-cruise, two-night stay in Agra for the Taj Mahal, three Kenyan safaris and city stays in Singapore, Bangkok and Cape Town.
A 15-day Asian Capitals and Vietnam cruise departing on January 17, 2010, start at £2,475 per person, including an early booking discount, with stops at Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Ha Lond Bay and Hong Kong.
Early booking savings of up to 50% are available for bookings made at least 90 days before departure. Savings are also available for passengers wanting to combine two or more cruises.
A “strictly limited” number of cabins have no sole occupancy supplement.
A no fuel surcharge guarantee is offered on all future cruise bookings.
Managing director David Yellow said: “Following on from the success of our adventurous Antarctica programme, we’ve decided it’s time to offer something completely new and different.
“Once again we’re blending the unusual with the exotic, but this time Discovery will venture much further east.”
