Luxury Cruise operator Crystal Cruises is to almost double its number of short cruises in 2010.

Crystal Cruises said "The move has been made to attract new cruisers and meet the increased demand for downsized holidays."
Luxury cruise specialist Crystal will offer 17 cruises at 10 days or less, including sailings in the Mediterranean, British Isles, Mexico's Sea of Cortez and the Canary Islands.
Full details of all these cruises can now be found on Luxury Cruise Website www.cruiseinstyle.co.uk designed by cruise specialists - The Cruise Village in Blackpool UK.
"Cruises of 10 days or less bring in new-to-Crystal cruisers, who take pre- and post-cruise stays with their cruise holiday," said Gregg Michel, Crystal president. "There is also an appeal for families. Also, we do recognize there are some travelers who are downsizing, who love the Crystal experience and want a Crystal vacation but want to spend less on their overall holiday. This is an alternative to our 12-day cruises."
Crystal's 2010 cruises will visit 174 ports in 70 countries on 62 cruises, including the line's first calls in Iran, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia as well as maiden calls in Topolobampo, Mexico; Holyhead, Wales; Portland, England; Port Elizabeth, South Africa; Sevastopol, Ukraine; and Almeria, Spain.
Phil's comment: If you have always dreamed of a World Cruise, but are perhaps unable to devote the time, why not call Lisa or Kathy at The Cruise Village and find out more about a Crystal Wolrd Voyage? The luxury of choice, convenience and flexibility is offered on seven intriguing destination-rich 2010 voyages. You have a choice of individual itineraries ranging from 12 to 21 days that may be combined to create a journey tailored to specific interests and schedules.
