Costa Deliziosa will be named in Dubai on 23rd February 2010
Cost Cruises has announced that their new ship the Costa Deliziosa will be named in Dubai on the 23rd February 2010.
This, according to Costa - is the first time a cruise ship will be named in an Arabian city.
The ceremony will take place during the ship’s inaugural cruise that departs Savona, Italy, on Feb. 5 and she will be in Dubai from the 23rd to 26th February 2010.
Passengers sailing on the first leg of the maiden cruise will be able to attend the exclusive inaugural ceremony.
The 92,600-ton Deliziosa is under construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard and is scheduled for delivery on the 29th January 2010.
The Deliziosa and its sister vessel, the Luminosa, will be deployed in Dubai this winter, where Costa cruises is offering seven-day cruises from Dubai.
