Just back today from Ventura cruise in Caribbean. No doubt that P & O are going downmarket to attract more customers, but formal dress code appeared to be followed on this cruise. However as far as the smart casual goes it appeared that almost anything was allowed including gaudy T shirts and scruffy jeans (I didn't see any shotrts!) and no-one appeared to be policing it at all. It seems to hinge largely on how many children are on board - the less families the more the dress code is followed. Preston Pete.
