Re: Re: Bar prices onboard ships. Are you getting value for money?

We also thought that bar prices on P&O were excellent! One that I can remember off the top of my head was Guiness @£1.99 a pint- this was on the sail in to Cobh. We decided to have a glass of wine each night instead of a bottle, as my husband likes red & I like white. The bill was £7.35 & no 15% added, unlike Celebrity. However, I think P&O prices are far higher than Celebrity, we could only afford a restricted Sea View cabin on P&O( Arcadia), whereas we had had a Premium Sea View cabin - which means Balcony on Celebrity Mercury last year in Oz & NZ. It will be interesting to see whether P&O revise their prices, now that Celebrity are sailing out of Southampton 20101
