Re: Bar prices onboard ships. Are you getting value for money?
by Anonymous
We have cruised many times with P & O and always found both the cruise and bar prices very favourable. In May were were on Independence of the Seas. The cruise price was OK but the prices of drinks made us think twice about ordering. The cheapest bottle of wine at dinner was $28 and a can of John Smiths $7.50. Would prefer to pay a bit extra up front for the cruise and have cheaper drinks. That way you know were you stand - once you're on board there's not much you can do about the prices. NB We were amazed that in the cabins we were supplied with facilities for making tea, but not coffee..........why ??
